The Explorado children's museum has very good traffic connections and can be reached easily by public and private transport. There is free, but limited, parking onsite. Especially on weekends and public holidays, parking space right in front of the museum may be difficult to find. Further down the Philosophenweg, around of the harbour, you find further big parking spaces, that have to be paid. From there you walk about 5 minutes to the Explorado.
From Duisburg main station, you take the bus 934 in direction "Kaßlerfeld / Am Unkelstein" to stop "Hansegracht" (it takes around 8 min.). There you turn into the Philosophenweg and walk only 2 minutes straight until the Explorado children's museum.
A journey planner is available here
Autobahn A59 (from direction Wesel):

Autobahn A59 (from direction Düsseldorf):
Exit Duissern, turn left into Oranienstraße and again left into Kardinal-Galen-Straße. From there you go right into Philosophenweg where you find the Explorado on the left side.
Located at the inner harbour, you find the Explorado on the Philosophenweg between the Hansegracht and Speichergracht in an impressive old granary. From Duisburg main station it is a 20 minutes walk. In front of the museum you also find a station of the bike sharing system metropolradruhr.
